Who we are

websoni.com (“websoni”, “we”) provides web development, e-commerce, SEO, website care and social media services. For any privacy-related question, contact us at info@websoni.com.

What data we collect

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the information you choose to share: your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and the content of your message.

We also hold business contact details of companies and of the professionals who represent them, which we use for the business-to-business (B2B) direct marketing described below. These may include a name, job title or role, company name, work email address, business phone number, company website and the company’s line of business. We obtain these details from publicly available business and professional sources — such as company websites, public business registers, business directories and professional networking platforms — or from other lawful sources, for example earlier business contact. In these cases the data does not come from you directly; on request we will tell you the source, or the category of source, it came from.

This website itself does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not profile visitors. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security purposes.

Why we use it

Details you send us through the contact form or by email are used to reply to your enquiry and, if we start working together, to deliver the agreed services. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing that contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and afterwards our legal obligations in relation to accounting.

Business contact details are used for B2B direct marketing, as explained in the next section.

We never sell your data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract and only on our instructions.

B2B direct marketing

websoni offers website design, development, e-commerce, SEO and website care services to businesses. To develop our business, we may contact companies and the professionals who represent them directly — usually by email — to introduce these services where we believe they may be relevant to that company. This is B2B marketing addressed to people in their professional capacity, not to consumers.

A work email address that identifies a person (for example jonas@company.lt, as opposed to info@company.lt) is personal data, and this policy applies to it. Where personal data is involved, our legal basis is our legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): developing our business and offering relevant professional services to companies that may benefit from them. We have weighed this interest against the interests of the people concerned: we contact people only in a business context and about their professional role, we use only the basic contact details listed above, we do not use sensitive data, we do not profile anyone or make automated decisions, and we make it easy to say no. We also follow the national rules on electronic marketing that apply in your country; where those rules require your prior consent before we may email you, we ask for it first.

You have the right to object to direct marketing at any time, for any reason and free of charge. Simply reply to any message we send you, or email info@websoni.com. We will stop contacting you for marketing as soon as we receive your objection.

After you object, we keep the minimum information needed — normally only your email address — on a do-not-contact (suppression) list. This is used solely to make sure we do not contact you again, even if your details later reach us from another source, and for nothing else.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Accounting documents (contracts, invoices) are stored for the period required by law.

Business contact details used for direct marketing are kept for no longer than 24 months from the date we obtained or last reviewed them, unless a business relationship has begun in the meantime; after that they are deleted or re-verified. If you object, your details are removed from our marketing records immediately, and only the suppression-list entry described above is retained, for as long as needed to honour your objection.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, ask us to restrict its processing, and object to its processing. In particular, you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing at any time (GDPR Article 21(2)). Where we did not obtain your details from you directly, you may also ask which source, or category of source, they came from. Email info@websoni.com and we will respond promptly.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
